Using the app

Meteo Wave is a free, ad-supported weather app for personal use. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use it on devices you own or control. You agree not to misuse the service — for example, by interfering with it, attempting to disrupt it, or accessing it by any means other than the app itself.

Weather data — no guarantees

Weather information in the app is provided by third-party sources, chiefly Open-Meteo, and is presented "as is". Forecasts are predictions: they can be wrong, incomplete, or unavailable, and readings may differ between platforms, sources or over time. Do not rely on Meteo Wave for safety-critical, aviation, marine, professional or emergency decisions. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or availability of any weather data.

Subscriptions and purchases

The app offers optional premium upgrades that remove ads and unlock features such as the full fourteen-day forecast, more saved cities, and a faster refresh. Premium is offered as:

  • a monthly auto-renewing subscription;
  • a yearly auto-renewing subscription;
  • a lifetime one-time purchase.

Prices are shown in the app at the time of purchase, in your local currency, and may vary by platform and region. The price you see and confirm in the App Store or Google Play is the price that applies.

Billing is handled by the store, not by us. All purchases are processed and managed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their terms. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple account (Subscriptions) or in the Google Play Store (Subscriptions). Use Restore Purchases in the app after reinstalling or changing devices. We cannot cancel, change or refund a store purchase on your behalf — refunds are subject to Apple's or Google's policies.

For App Store purchases, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

Ads

The free app is supported by advertising served by Google. Buying any premium tier removes ads. How advertising interacts with your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains, per platform, what the app sends, what we keep, and who receives it.

Intellectual property

The app, its name, its design and its content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. Weather data belongs to its respective providers. These terms don't grant you any rights in our or their intellectual property beyond using the app as intended.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any decision made in reliance on weather data shown in the app.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
